A LEAP BACK

Hello there Audience, it's me Cloon here on this most auspicious day of February 29 to take you on a magical leap back into the month of February to catch you up on what transpired here at Headquarters...

At the beginning of the month, Neytiri and I were awakened from our snooze-a-palooza by some whistlin' in the distance...

We were surprised to find Varmit the Marmot surfacing and trying to get our attention at o-dark-thirty.   It just so happened to be Groundhog Day and since he had been on strike for the last two years from his Annual Groundhog Day Report and his 5 year Groundhog contract was up for renewal, we weren't sure what his angle was.

As it turns out, he had been spying on Neytiri baking up a storm in preparation for our Oscars party and demanded some cupcakes in order to deliver this year's Groundhog Day Report.  Once he had sampled a few, he announced his early Spring prediction for British Columbia!  Varmit was not alone in his early Spring Prediction...as you already know, famous Groundhogs
Punxsutawney Phil and Wiarton Willie DID NOT see their shadows and predicted an early Spring for Pennsylvania and Ontario!
Unfortunately, Nova Scotia’s Shubenacadie Sam DID see his shadow and predicted 6 more weeks of winter for Eastern Canada.

Taking us a bit later into the month, I hosted our Oscars review right from my brand new office chair wearing my office caj.  (*Note how my interior decorator chose to compliment my furs*)

Getting right underway...here was my presentation of Best Motion Picture...

In the Best Motion Picture Category...the 3 Nominees:

1) Joker

This motion picture features a failed stand-up comedian duck whose descent into mini-mugs of ale have gotten him into trouble, trouble and more trouble.

2) Once Upon A Time In Hollywood Clooneyland

The film follows the celebricat George Clooney and his stunt double Mini-Cloon, as they navigate the crazy world of magic cat tunnels, marmots, maracas and the ever-changing schemes for Num-Nums and dinero.

 3) Parasite

This motion picture follows a free-rider/hanger-on who infiltrates the Headquarters of a CEO, charming his way in through flattery and false qualifications and exploiting the hospitality of his host.

And the Oscar goes to...
Parasite!

And we wrap up our month by joining the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop
with our furriends at The Cat On My Head.

ON THE RED BLANKIE: CLOON'S OSCAR REVIEW

Well hello there Audience.  Welcome to my Red Blankie Oscar Review.  I gots all comfy with my popcorn and parked myself in front of the TV to watch the 83rd Annual Academy Awards.  Theese is a  tradition at Headquarters as my Human likes to watch the awards and I likes to gets a tummy massage while I cuddles up next to her.  Without further ado, I will do my review and present a few awards...

VON ICE ENTERPRISES BEST DRESSED AWARD goes to Jennifer Hudson.  My friend Mr. L nominated theese lovely lady because her gown was beautiful and she looked amazing.  (Also, the color of her dress was "tangerine" and it reminds him of his best friend, the orange dog toy, "The Baby".)

"GIRLFRIEND'S" WARM FUZZIES AWARD goes to Sandra Bullock.  She was the best presenter and she is so cute, classy, funny and nice.  We likes our Sandy.

CLOON'S OSCAR PICK goes to Natalie Portman.  Theese is because she is a nice person and she starred as a "swan" and that is part of the bird family and I likes my birdies.

NEYTIRI'S OSCAR CRUSH goes to Mark Darcy...uh I mean Colin Firth.  She says he is funny, charming, handsome and she admits to secretly watching Bridget Jones's Diary over and over and over...

I hopes you enjoyed the Oscars tonight Audience.  I bid you a good evening.

On The Red Carpet

Hello there Audience!  Welcome to the Red Carpet Premiere of our new blog!  (You may have noticed that we has good stories over here but were lacking in the design pizazz department.)Recently, we had a winning bid for new custom banners by Zoolatry in Brighton's Auction and theese is the result...Gotta love that ZH of Maggy's and Zoey's!  Not only did the lovely Lady re-vamp our blog, but she sent me a kiss as well, I mean come on eh, what more can a guy ask for?  Seriously.  So we'z reserved the front row seats (in the V.I.P. section, of course) for the ZH, Maggy and Zoey.  Secretary Neytiri will be around shortly with my infamous catnip brownies (you may want to start out slowly with theese ones as they'z known to produce some rolling around on the floor and you might not want to wrinkle your fancy evening gowns).

So, stick with us Audience, some things to come in the near future are: My Gotcha Day, Our Blogoversary, Neytiri's Birthday and many more adventures with Our Cast of Characters and of course, fun contests...

Oops gotta go folks...the limos are arriving and we'z having a bit of a parking dilemma...

CLOON SAMBAS OUT TO THE DRIVEWAY SINGING, "I'M SO EXCITED, AND I JUST CAN'T HIDE IT"...
