TUNNEL TUESDAY: TAKE A LOOK AT THEESE ONE!

Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my tunnel in the wee hours of the morn...and what do I find?  Special gifts from my Cousin Cloonski Ogorki!  Isn't that exciting, felines?!

 

Yep, Cloonski is in da house!  Here is a snap of him binge-watching the new series "Birds Gone Wild" on Netflix on a full tummy of Neytiri's homecooked Ukrainian food...

He brought us special Cat Dolls from Kiev...Does theese one bear any resemblance to anykitty you know?

And here I am posing with the special dog biscuit that he brought with him for the woofie from next door...Last year, if you recall, the woofie had placed an order with Cloonski for some specialty dog biscuits from Old Country...Because of the Snowpocalypse, Cloonski was stranded in the airport and ate the dog biscuits!  You can read about that here...

This year he remembered to bring a biscuit with him to surprise the woofie...Here I am waiting at the front door for the woofie to drop by...

The woofie thought the surprise biscuit was the best New Year's gift evah!

Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my tunnel in the wee hours of the morn...and what do I find?  A special gift from my Cousin Cloonski Ogorki!  Can you believe it, felines?

Uh, what's going on here?

Not a smidgen of the good stuff to be found!

Yep, besides eating the dog biscuits when he was stranded in the snowpocalypse, he ate our Christmas gift that he brought with him from Old Country...

But then with a sparkle in his eye,  he pulled a surprise out of his suitcase for us...

A very special Cat Doll from the Ukraine...

Whoa, wasn't there just one of theese ones?

Neytiri headed over curious about the multiplying Cat Doll phenomenon...

She gave them a thorough sniffing...

What in the Hello Kitty is going on?

Yep, Cloonski brought us a special set of Cat Matryoshka Dolls! 

Suddenly there was a knock at the door...The woofie from next door was on the scene again...He saw Cloonski arrive by taxi and came to claim his special order of biscuits...

Luckily Neytiri had put her Martha Stewart Baking Lessons to good use once again...She saved the day by baking some special biscuits for the woofie...

And Clooney Claus's Deers had re-surfaced to celebrate Ukrainian New Year's with us...

In addition to our perogy supper, we decided to do it up in style with more Chinese take-out...

And KFC! 

And all was well in the neighbourhood once again...

TUNNEL TUESDAY: SNOWPOCALYPSE!

Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my tunnel in the early hours of the morn...and what do I find?  Wait a minute...my tunnel is outside in a snowbank!

And Mini-Cloon is having a hay day out in the snow too!  It's been snowing for two days and we received a record snowfall where we live and the plows have not yet made it out...

And it gets better...The woofie from next door is approaching...He is expecting an order of specialty biscuits that my long-lost cousin Cloonski Ogorki was bringing with him from Old Country.  The woofie had placed his order one whole year ago, the last time Cloonski was in Canada. 

Here he is expecting the goods...

I whisper to Neytiri to let him down gently.  You see, the snowpocalypse has affected all flights coming into our city and they have all been cancelled.  Thus my cousin is stranded and MIA with the dog biscuits...

As seen in the video, upon getting his attention, Neytiri communicates the disturbing news and the woofie starts to cry...

He exits stage left saying that next time, he will place his order on ebay...

Oh, oh.  Clooney Claus's Deers have now arrived on the scene as they were promised a perogy supper for Ukrainian Christmas tonight, we now have to break the news to them that the perogy supper is cancelled...

Upon hearing this disappointing news, they run down the mountain to order Chinese take-out...

Meanwhile my long-lost cousin Cloonski Ogorki is...

Stranded at the aeropuerto, feeling like a fool, he ate the dog's biscuits...what will he do?

When we last left off, I was in full-on meerkat-marmot mode!  I couldn't believe my eyes! 

In walked my long-lost cousin Cloonski Ogorki!  Fresh off the red-eye from Old Country to celebrate Ukrainian New Year's with me and notably under the influence of...

...Potato Water!

One must stay hydrated on theese long-distance flights, don't ya know!  Now Cloonski's potato water is so famous that it was given the Sunshine Award by the kitties over at The Cat On My Head!
Apparently they tasted the stuff at a Wodka Tasting Event and have been converts ever since!  Mauricio even takes it with him on his Cat Scouts camping trips just in case they needs a bit of help to get the ol' campfire going...

Cloonski Ogorki was absolutely gobsmacked by the award and gives a huge thank you to all the kitties at The Cat On My Head!

In the spirit of the award, Cloonski will share 11 Tips For A Purrfect 2014:

1) Drink plenty of Potato Water.
2) Make sure the inventory level of the Num-Nums in your pantry is up-to-snuff.
3) If your Num-Nums inventory is low, send your Human out to the store, pronto!
4) Make sure you get your 15 hours of beauty rest daily.
5) Ensure daily exercise of crazy zoomies or Thundering Herd of Elephants!
6) Make sure your Human gives you chin scritches, brushies or tummy rubs (whichever you prefer) each day.  
7)  Ensure daily enrichment activities such as looking out windows or having your Human play wand toys or feathers with you. 
8) Snuggle up to your favorite kitty buddy or Human, love is good for the kitty soul.
9) Send out purrs and good vibes to kitties who are homeless or are in shelters awaiting their forever homes.  
10) Eat plenty of perogies!  
11) Drink plenty of Potato Water!

 Cloonski would now like to pass the Sunshine Award on to anyone who would like to have it and bear in mind that you will receive a free roll of kubasa (Ukrainian sausage) right along with it!

TUNNEL TUESDAY: TAKE A LOOK AT THEESE ONE!

Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my tunnel in the wee hours of the morn...and what do I find?  My tunnel was decorated with Ukrainian embroidery...BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE...There waiting for me was a Ukrainian sausage!  Can you believe it felines? 

After a bit Neytiri decided the sausage was ok and commenced giving it a good whapping! 

But guess what felines?  There was another surprise waiting for me by my tunnel...A special guest had appeared on the scene...It was my cousin "Cloonski Ogorki"! 

Cloonski Ogorki had surprised me and shown up at Headquarters!  He had taken the red eye in from Old Country to spend Ukrainian Christmas and New Years with us...Now for theese ones of you not familiar with my cousin...you may be very surprised at his very striking resemblance to me!  We are definitely brudders from the same  anudder Mudder!  Last year when Cloonski Ogorki visited, he hosted a sold-out seminar on the art of "Making Your Own Potato Water".  If you didn't read about theese shenanigans last year *GO HERE* 

This year, however, the cousin and I are taking it easy...Some sled rides with my team of deers, watching some action movies on Shaw On Demand, snacking on some of Neytiri's Christmas baking, a little bit of shopping at Winners, etc. etc.

Well hello there Audience.  Last night on the Eve of the Ukrainian New Year, my cousin Cloonski Ogorki (visiting from Old Country) hosted a sold-out event at Headquarters.  My cousin, (pictured above), conducted a seminar on the art of "Making Your Own Potato Water".  Secretary Neytiri was one of the attendees...

I, on the other paw, was the "Official Taste Tester"...What follows is a little story of sorts, on what may happen if one over-imbibes theese "Potato Water":

One may perform "Stupid Party Tricks"...

One may mis-use the Corporate Credit Card on the interwebs...

One may experience "hallucinations"...

One may get the "munchies"...

One may "wake up in strange places"...

But no worries folks...if theese happens, I has just the thing...
