Twas Catmas Eve and Clooney Claus's deers came a-knockin'

Headquarters was dark

Definitely not rockin'...

Earlier that day, Mini-Cloon had scheduled a fitting

All the hats were lined up

The niptinis hard-hitting!

  Clooney Claus had zoned-out

He had not been about

Delivering nip mice

To felines naughty and nice.

 What a fiasco

He missed Catmas

That rascal!

Not only that

But he had a secret.

Ducky's relatives

Were all arriving in sequence.

Hoping to sample

Neytiri's holiday baking genius.

 On route to Headquarters

They soon would arrive 

Catmas now gone

Boxing Day would suffice.

We hope you all had

A Special Catmas Eve

It's Catmas Eve and a special one at that...but first Neytiri is examining what has shown up in the tunnel today...looks like a brand new suit for ol' Clooney Claus.

My biceps have grown too big for my old suit and soon you will get a glimpse of the new and improved Clooney Claus in my new threads...

First though, we will be honoring my Human's first ever feline Doogie Howser PhD.  Tonight is the 10th Anniversary of his passing and we are paying tribute to him.  Doogie was a cat full of soul, adventurous and independent but he had a very special bond with my Human ~ his Lady. He is now one of my Human's Guardian Angels and he has watched over her for the past 10 years...his story can be found under the Guardian Angels tab under our blog header. 

Ducky and Mini-Cloon wanted me to show the Audience the tree they decorated and lit in Doogie's honor...
Actually, I'm just pulling your paw...this is The Tree of Hope that is lit every year in our city...but we thought it was befitting of Doogie's 10th Anniversary.  

My Human created some art with an unpublished photo of her last moments with Doogie on Christmas Eve, 2006. 

 As it is also my 10th year of existence, we are commemorating that in this art photo and we are joining Athena, Cat Goddess in her Caturday Art Blog Hop.

We spotted Neytiri ~ our most beautiful Catmas ornament of all ~ and she wishes everyone a Merry Christmas!

Catmas Eve & Advent Mitten 24

And we made it to Advent Mitten 24...Whew!
It brings us a special Christmas Bear to be delivered to a special friend this Catmas Eve...

Neytiri got the bear ready in the shopping cart just in case those deers don't show up to pull the sled like last year...
As you can see, I am not impressed by the mere thought of this...

Then Ducky had an idea to turn on the Christmas lights to lure the deers up the mountain...

And by George Ducky, I think this worked!  I hear something...

Sure enough, Clooney Claus's Deers have arrived on the scene! 

After delivering the Christmas Bear, Clooney Claus will be on his way to deliver all the catnip mice to felines naughty and nice...

Well, I guess I better "suit-up"...
...and take a selfie!

It's Catmas Eve and we are down to the wire here at Headquarters!
I'z doing a final check on the goods I will be delivering to felines both naughty and nice.

Ducky's made a list.

Neytiri's checked it twice.

We already know who needs

nip and mice.

Clooney Claus is coming to your town...

today...(maybe...depends on the deers)

Neytiri has done a final inspection on the Elves and I have "suited-up"... 

I am patiently waiting...

And waiting some more...
Surely my deers will be arriving at any moment to help me out...

Wait a minute...is that hooves we hear?

Remember my deers from last year that helped me out?
Well I have had no sign of them this year...
I bets they are hanging out at Nellie's blinged-up Reindeer Stable!
Oh oh.  This means one thing...
Ol' Clooney Claus will be hoofin' it on his own this year and pushing his shopping cart!

Neytiri is testing out the wheels on the shopping cart and it's a good thing she had winter wheels put on with all theese icy road conditions...

CATMAS EVE WITH CLOONEY CLAUS

Well hello there Audience!  Welcome to the behind-the-scenes footage as Clooney Claus does his final preparations at Headquarters.  Here is me posing in the "classy" suit that showed up in my tunnel theese Tuesday...It is cosy so it will keep me warm wherever there is snow and colder weather, of course so will a few "catnip toddies"...

Oh, what's this I hear?  There is a bit of a ruckus going on...My deers have arrived on the scene to pull the sled of Clooney Claus...

Yikes, theese ones are chomping at the bit, so to speak...they are really anxious to get the night started and to see Joe the donkey...haytinis have been promised...

(Psst...don't worry felines...my Human may pay for theese one...nothing like a nose bite in the wee hours of the morn...)

Tada!....Introducing the one-and-only...Clooney Claus in his complete suit!  Now felines, I have taken all your requests very seriously and noted each and every one!  Goodies, treats, Num-Nums, catnip mice, etc. etc. will be delivered to naughty and nice kitties theese Catmas Eve!  So be watching for Clooney Claus and his deers...and have a very MERRY CATMAS!
