Gotcha Day Surprises!

Hello there Audience!  We miss you and wanted to share some surprise happenings of our day today with you all...It started by Mini-Cloon letting me in on a secret this morning...

Given that it is the 8th Gotcha Day of our sweet Neytiri and her compadre Ducky, there was a big surprise in store for her...

As it turns out, Mini-Cloon and Ducky had developed quite the green thumbs this spring and they had been secretly growing a Catnip plant for Neytiri...that girl is a fan of the nip!  Well so is Mini-Cloon for that matter, so maybe he had ulterior motives...It looks like the grow-op has been quite successful!

And then Neytiri had a surprise visitor...One of Clooney Claus's Deers was out in the backyard and came to sing her a very belated Happy Birthday (for her missed Birthday in March)! 

To celebrate the ending of her Gotcha Day, she watched a beautiful sunset from the patio...

We'll leave you all with a taste of the cotton candy clouds...

Gotcha Perogies?

Well hello there Audience!  Since we have been MIA for mucho tiempo, we wanted to show you what we've been up to...you can see that we have been busy chillaxin' and catching up on our beauty sleep...

Day or night, no matter...separate or in tandem...

But we will wake to tell you the next chapter in the exciting and continuing saga of Clooneyland and the striking Marmots...

When we last left off, the Marmot Whisperer was sequestered in the Secret Research Laboratory working on a master plan to bring the marmots out of hibernation...

Finally, he was ready to reveal his secret plan...He enlisted the help of Ducky and Mini-Cloon to carry it out...

Perogies!  Yep, you got that right...

The Marmot Whisperer went hard to work making homemade perogies to lure the Marmots out...

Neytiri headed for the patio to survey the backyard of Headquarters...meowing "Gotcha Perogies!"

Carefully she monitored the Marmot status...

Reporting nada, nothing, no Marmots in sight...

Neytiri then came back inside to celebrate another "Gotcha"...

It's her 7th Gotcha Day today!  We are celebrating with a Mexican theme complete with maracas, sombreros, fancy umbrella drinks and a very special dessert...

Neytiri put her Martha Stewart Baking Lessons in play once again and created a Tres Leches Cake...

Hmm, maybe her baking will bring those stubborn Marmots out of hibernation...stay tuned Audience!

Gotcha Day...SURPRISE!

It's a very special day at Headquarters today..I was starting out with a snooze and then I heard something in the distance...

I crept past Neytiri who was chillaxin' and tried not to disturb her...

There was Baby Marmot whistlin' to me out back of Headquarters...

I went out on the patio to supervise what was about to take place...

Baby Marmot had come to eat pick flowers and assemble a special bouquet...

I observed him get busy with the flower arrangement...

Then I saw another familiar sight...Clooney Claus's Deer were on the scene with a special delivery...

They delivered a  Hello Kitty cake for the special occasion...

SURPRISE!!!

We all organized a SURPRISE party for Neytiri and Ducky complete with flowers and cake...

Happy 6th Gotcha Day to our sweet Neytiri and her compadre Ducky! 

Gotcha Day Serenade

It's the 5th Gotcha Day of Neytiri and Ducky and they woke up to something special this morning...

They heard some noises and Neytiri ran to look out the window...

There was Ducky's distant relatives on the scene...

Mama and Papa Quail and their 19 babies were outside Headquarters...

They stopped by to wish Neytiri and Ducky a Happy Gotcha Day...

Yep, Neytiri and Ducky were given a very special 
21 Quail Salute Serenade!

Double Gotcha Box Day

It's the 4th Gotcha Day of our sweet Neytiri and her bestest pal Ducky!  

And since tomorrow is International Box Day we decided to celebrate it one day early...

Neytiri, being the good sport she is, jumped in the box to pose and scouted the horizon for her guests to help her celebrate the day...

And me...I couldn't resist a backside photo-bomb, just to spice things up! 

So come one, come all, let's shake our tailfeathers and party-down!

I Got You Babe

Neytiri was Gotcha'd  by her "duck" 3 years ago today!  He was waiting for her the day she came to her new home.  This is the first picture of her and "Ducky" together and they have been inseparable ever since...

"Ducky" has always been a character...

 And oftentimes a "pawful"...

Neytiri was there for "Ducky's" very first skateboard ride...

And to be his personal Nurse when needed...

 She taught him to sing...

And he taught her to gamble...

So for her special day, he decided to do something cool for his "babe"...

He decided to throw her a surprise Gotcha Day Party...He put up signs in the neighbourhood and critters started to flock...

First on the scene was theese little woofie from next door...

And then things really got interesting....

 Unbeknownst to everyone, "Ducky" had invited his relatives to the party!  

 They were camped out our front door from the wee hours of the morn, waiting to attend the festivities...

They took the instructions "Wipe Your Paws" very seriously and decided they better take a dip before entering...

We now realize that "Ducky" invited all of the critters on the interwebs!  So come one, come all and help us celebrate the 3rd Gotcha Day of our sweet babe Neytiri!  
 

Celebrating Neytiri

It's Neytiri's Gotcha Day!  This first picture was taken on her first day home when she was 14 weeks old.

Here she is last year around her Gotcha Day time.

And here is a recent picture of Neytiri.  It has been interesting to watch her coloring change.  She is a blue bicolor ragdoll and they take four years to fully mature (she has just turned two).

This is Neytiri's Father Tomoki.

This is Neytiri's brother Aum from the same litter.  He will be part of the breeding program.
