Caturday Art

"When you don't know what else to do and things are strangely bizarre, why not ask the Universe to show you something beautiful today?"

- Dain Heer

May you witness some beauty daily.  Happy Caturday!

Caturday Art

"All I can tell you is that once you see the magic in little things, you'll be fine, because magic knows exactly when that happens & it'll never leave you alone after that."

- Brian Andreas

Our Human had gathered some pussy willows on a Spring walk in nature a week ago.  Pussy willows are a favorite thing of hers and remind her of childhood.  They are little signs of magic for her during this time.  We hope you all find your own signs and sources of magic and wonder during uncertainty.  We hold you all in our highest thoughts..may you be safe and healthy.

THANKFUL FOR PURR-FECT 10's

Neytiri began her special day with a card from Timmy Tomcat and Family...Thank you dear furriends!

Then Ducky told her not to peek while he presented her with a Birthday gift honoring their 10 years as Besties...

The art is based on my Human's favorite picture of Neytiri and Ducky which was the very first picture taken of the two of them together the day they met, 10 years ago.

Neytiri is over-the-moon about her special gift!  For any Felines interested in a Caticature and being captured in a
purr-sonal work of art, Ducky says you can enquire at: https://www.caricaturesbymonte.com

We think they are
"Purr-fect 10's" and in celebration of our Birthday girl, who we are so thankful for, we are joining our friends on the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop at Brian's Home
Thank you Neytiri and Ducky for lighting up our lives these precious past 10 years!

A LEAP BACK

Hello there Audience, it's me Cloon here on this most auspicious day of February 29 to take you on a magical leap back into the month of February to catch you up on what transpired here at Headquarters...

At the beginning of the month, Neytiri and I were awakened from our snooze-a-palooza by some whistlin' in the distance...

We were surprised to find Varmit the Marmot surfacing and trying to get our attention at o-dark-thirty.   It just so happened to be Groundhog Day and since he had been on strike for the last two years from his Annual Groundhog Day Report and his 5 year Groundhog contract was up for renewal, we weren't sure what his angle was.

As it turns out, he had been spying on Neytiri baking up a storm in preparation for our Oscars party and demanded some cupcakes in order to deliver this year's Groundhog Day Report.  Once he had sampled a few, he announced his early Spring prediction for British Columbia!  Varmit was not alone in his early Spring Prediction...as you already know, famous Groundhogs
Punxsutawney Phil and Wiarton Willie DID NOT see their shadows and predicted an early Spring for Pennsylvania and Ontario!
Unfortunately, Nova Scotia’s Shubenacadie Sam DID see his shadow and predicted 6 more weeks of winter for Eastern Canada.

Taking us a bit later into the month, I hosted our Oscars review right from my brand new office chair wearing my office caj.  (*Note how my interior decorator chose to compliment my furs*)

Getting right underway...here was my presentation of Best Motion Picture...

In the Best Motion Picture Category...the 3 Nominees:

1) Joker

This motion picture features a failed stand-up comedian duck whose descent into mini-mugs of ale have gotten him into trouble, trouble and more trouble.

2) Once Upon A Time In Hollywood Clooneyland

The film follows the celebricat George Clooney and his stunt double Mini-Cloon, as they navigate the crazy world of magic cat tunnels, marmots, maracas and the ever-changing schemes for Num-Nums and dinero.

 3) Parasite

This motion picture follows a free-rider/hanger-on who infiltrates the Headquarters of a CEO, charming his way in through flattery and false qualifications and exploiting the hospitality of his host.

And the Oscar goes to...
Parasite!

And we wrap up our month by joining the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop
with our furriends at The Cat On My Head.

Sunday Selfies Surprise

Hear ye, hear ye Audience!  Read all about it!  Neytiri here with a few big announcements...

Firstly, since it is the Chinese New Year, we want to wish you all a 2020 filled with Joy, Vitality and Abundance (and lots of rats mousies)!

And most importantly, I wanted to include you all in a Belated Lucky 13 Gotcha Celebration for Clooney.  This Tuesday, January 21 was his 13th Gotcha Day and Ducky and I decided to splurge on a surprise gift for him.  Using the corporate credit card, we commissioned a "Caticature" from a Famous Artiste.

What do you think Audience?  We think he captured us "purrfectly"!

And now for a selfie of our Mancat of the Week...Clooney!  We are joining the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop
with our furriends at The Cat On My Head.

Caturday Art

"There is a hidden story in her eyes."  - Unknown

Neytiri is a pensive cat.  I always wonder what she is conveying through her eyes.  This capture and quote speak to that.

It's been so long since we created photo art and joined the art blog hop and I've really missed that.  It's important to do creative things that nourish your soul and spirit, so here we are.  Have a lovely Caturday, everyone!

CLOONEY'S 10 CATMANDMENTS

Hello there my dearest Audience!   I left my Marmot friends to come out of hibernation and deliver my 10 Catmandments in honor of our 10th Blogoversary...

1.  Allow yourself to be pampered (like a Prince or Princess).

2.  Extend a paw when you can.  (And insist that your Human kiss your royal paw to atone for missing your Gotcha Day as in my case.)

3.  Indulge in good foods.

4.  Celebrate yourself.

5.  Notice the little things.

6.  Enjoy every sunset.

7.  Take time to smell...

...the flowers.

8.  Treasure the sunny days...

...while honoring the grey days.

9.  Appreciate each season...

...of life.

10.  Stay curious...

And...

...and spread love.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!
We have missed you all and send you tons of love and appreciation!!!  May your 2019 be filled with joy and magic!

XOXO
Clooney & Neytiri

Caturday Celebrations With Clooney

Anybody out there?  It's me...The Cloon!  Long time no see!  I have a story to share with you all...

Earlier this week, I was chillaxin' on the catio, minding my own beeswax when I caught wind of something...

Yep, a little birdie whispered in my ear some news that I took great offense to...

I heard that I had an appointment with the dentist and she was planning to steal one of my prized possessions...

This here sensational fang...

Can you believe it felines?  My left fang was about to be stolen!

Realizing that my days of vampire impressions were about to be over, I decided to hire a photographer to capture some purrfessional photos of my prized fangs while I still had them...

While I spent the last few days being waited on hand and foot (or paw and paw) by my Human, My Human was also deep into planning a very special event for today.  She decided to throw me an elegant garden party to try to make up for having my toof stolen.  Today, I am spending my 12th Birthday in style...

Neytiri was busy making the centerpieces for the tables...

I was the official whippy cream tester...nothing like the "good stuff" to cure what ails ya!

And once again, Neytiri put her Martha Stewart Baking Lessons to good use, making special desserts for the guests...

Neytiri was also in charge of the youngest of Clooney Claus's Deers, who has been hanging around Headquarters lately in training for next Catmas Eve...

The baby fawn was getting into position to direct traffic to Headquarters for my Birthday party...

This video shows the fawn in action...

And a purrfect ending to Caturday night with my own purrsonal fireworks show...

Yep, I think the Royal treatment is quite befitting to Yours truly, Mr. George Clooney!  What do you think, Audience?
