ADVENT TUNNEL TUESDAY - ADVENT MITTEN 20

Well hello there felines!  Can you believe it?  It's me Cloon...finally here after being MIA for soooo long...

Anyhoo, I goes to my tunnel in the wee hours of the morn...and what do I find?  There waiting for me was Advent Mitten 20 and a sign that says "The Marmots"...

 

When we last left off, my theme park Clooneyland was set to open this summer on my B-Day in July and the Marmots, who are my staff and employees at Clooneyland, went on strike delaying the opening.  I had been very busy in negotiations this past 5 months and wanted to share with you how I spent most of my time...

I typically started out my day like this...

After watching out the window for minutes hours and hours each day...patiently and expectantly waiting for the arrival of Mini-Cloon the very seasoned and skilled arbitrator who was involved in strike negotiations with the Marmots to bring me good news...

I became very sleepy and spent most of my time in a face plant, dreamin' of Num-Nums developed the skills of a Zen Master, meditating and sending out positive vibes to the striking Marmots, hoping that they would achieve a peaceful and satisfactory resolution and that Clooneyland would be up and running for Catmas...

But alas, Secretary Neytiri advised me that a press release had been issued regarding the situation...

The Marmots had now gone into hibernation until Spring and the Clooneyland opening was delayed yet again...

And then, I had a brilliant idea!  Oh, theese one is a good one!  This just might bring the Marmots out of hibernation early...stay tuned Audience...

ADVENT TUNNEL TUESDAY - ADVENT MITTEN 22

Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my tunnel in the very late hours of the day...and what do I find?  There waiting for me was a bunch of peacock feathers!

 Can you believe it, felines?!  Neytiri wasted no time in giving them a good whiff...

 

 

Then I parked myself down and was quite taken by theese particular feathers...

 

 

Yep, theese ones are the real deal...they come from a peacock farm and they smell exactly like birdies...

Clooney Claus will be delivering the special peacock feathers to felines everywhere on Catmas Eve...

ADVENT TUNNEL TUESDAY - ADVENT MITTEN 15

Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my tunnel in the late hours of the day...and what do I find?  There waiting for me was Advent Mitten 15 and  a bag of marinated mousies!

 Can you believe it, felines?  I'm very excited about theese one!

I decided to get up-close-and-purrsonal to check out the mousies and saw that they were marinating in the very best ingredients evah...B.C. Buddy Herbal Blendz Mx!  

Oh, theese ones are going to be extra potent for Ol' Clooney Claus to deliver to felines both naughty and nice on Catmas Eve... 

 Wait just a minute...I think I spotted someone among the marinating mousies...Camerawoman, can you zoom in a little please?!

Yep, just as I suspected...Mini-Cloon is marinating himself in the good stuff!  This little guy has a little bit of an obsession with nip and the B.C. Buddy herbal blend...

I pulled him out of the marinade only to find him in a bit of an altered state...

I better lick all the marinade off him and test the product  purrform CPR on Mini-Cloon, this guy is an important part of my operations!  Wish me luck, folks!

Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my tunnel in the late hours of the day...and what do I find?  There waiting for me was the Advent Mitten 8 and 
a big stash of Num-Nums!

 Can you believe it, felines?  I'm very excited about theese one!

Then Neytiri put the kibosh on my excitement by suggesting that the tunnel had produced theese Num-Nums to feed Clooney Claus's deers on Catmas Eve...
Say it ain't so, felines...

Maybe just maybe I could act as the "Quality Control Tester" to make sure theese Num-Nums are up to snuff for the deers...what do you think, felines?

Where's my Purrsonal Assistant when I need her?  Let's get this party started!

ADVENT TUNNEL TUESDAY - ADVENT MITTEN 1

Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my tunnel in the late hours of the day...and what do I find?  There waiting for me was the Advent Mitten 1 and a sign about deers...  Hmm, what do you make about theese one?  And can you believe it's December 1st already and the start of the Advent Calendar Countdown to Christmas?

All of a sudden, I heard a rustle and there out my kitchen window was the deers!  This was the purrfect opportunity to seal the deal for Catmas Eve and get the deers to sign a contract to help Ol' Clooney Claus out...

Then Neytiri had a brilliant idea...She decided to entice the deer with promises of her infamous Martha Stewart baked goodies and her special Catnip Lattes...

Upon hearing this, the deers' ears perked and they became more interested in working on Catmas Eve...I even decided to sweeten the deal with throwing in some Num-Nums for good measure...

This little guy got really excited about the Num-Nums offer and came out of hiding!  Then something very cool happened...

We hope you are able to view the above video showing the 6 newest members of Clooney Claus's Catmas Eve team!  I can't believes my luck this year!  I will be able to visit more felines both naughty and nice with all the deerpower for sure...

Last year, we had so much fun counting down the days to Catmas with the Advent Mittens each day in December.  This year we will be featuring Advent surprises in the tunnel each Tuesday in December.  We also want to express our appreciation for you, our blogging furriends.  We have been behind in visiting and commenting this past while and we want you all to know that everyone and everykitty is always in our thoughts and hearts and we hope to catch up with everyone in the next few weeks.

Neytiri had set up shop with a Cat Cafe!  Can you believe it, felines?

She is once again putting her Martha Stewart Baking Lessons to very good use and is about to brew some "Meow-Chow" Catnip Tea...

Any takers?  Looks like she is brewing it mighty strong...this girl does not mess around!

Now, what if we tell you that the "Catch Of The Day" is that special BC Sockeye Salmon from Advent Mitten 12 and Neytiri will be serving it up in fancy canapes...

ADVENT TUNNEL TUESDAY: ADVENT MITTEN 9

Well hello there felines!  So I goes to my tunnel in the wee hours of the morn...and what do I find?  There waiting for me was some crinkle toys!  Can you believe it felines? 

My Human sprinkled the crinkle toy with some good ol' B.C. Buddy Herbal Blendz Mx to try to entice me to play with the toy...

...and it worked!  Actually theese toys are nice and cuddly as they are made out of soft flannel.  They make a cool crinkle sound when you play with them too.  Notice the nip on my nose, I gave it a good sniffin'...

We tried to upload a new video we made with the fling-ama-string to Blogger, but we only succeeded with  the short one for now and there was some sort of odd creature involved...

...a hairy paw of some sort?

ADVENT TUNNEL TUESDAY - ADVENT MITTEN 2

Well hello there felines!  So I goes to my tunnel in the wee hours of the morn...and what do I find?  There waiting for me was a fling-ama-string!  Can you believe it felines? 

Oh, I hit the motherlode with theese one!  I've been wanting this for years!   

Once my Human took this apparatus out of the box and let the string out, I was planning my strategy...

When the fling-ama-string was put on the door handle, secured, batteries added and turned on, firstly I observed it...

But then I got into the action and totally was occupied with getting the string...I had so much fun and LOVED the fling-ama-string! 

Neytiri not so much.  She observed it "wide-eyed" but mostly from the back of the room and did not want to approach it...

Me, though, I give the fling-ama-string a 4 PAWS UP rating...

Does any kitty out there have one of theese ones?

PS:  We had me and the fling-ama-string on video but then the memory card corrupted and we didn't have time to re-film it, so we will show you another time, my Human said I was very cute...

TUNNEL TUESDAY: IT'S ADVENT MITTENS!

 Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my tunnel in the wee hours of the morn...

and what do I find?  There waiting for me was a box of Advent Mittens!  Can you believe it felines?

 

Now the best part of theese Advent Mittens was the string which they were all attached to...oh how I loves me string!  Anyhoo, I was closely supervised as I have proved untrustworthy around string in the past...

Secretary Neytiri assembled the Advent Mittens and displayed them along the tunnel for you all to see and then she gave them a thorough sniffin' and inspection...

They passed the test with flying colors...

As you know, an Advent calendar is a special calendar used to count or celebrate the days in anticipation of Christmas.  Usually each day opens to reveal a little something special like a chocolate, a small gift, a toy, an image, a poem or part of a story.  

Starting December 1, each day one of our Advent Mittens will reveal a special surprise to help brighten your December and/or give you ideas for special holiday gifties and start the countdown until Christmas or Catmas Eve.  Each Tunnel Tuesday during December will be a special Advent Tunnel Tuesday featuring the big stuff!

TUNNEL TUESDAY - ADVENT EDITION

TUNNEL TUESDAY - ADVENT EDITION ~Week 3

Well hello there felines!  So I goes to my tunnel in the very late hours of the morn...and what do I find?  There waiting for me is some apparel.  Now theese isn't just any old apparel....Theese one is a good one!  It is red with white trim and a black buckle belt...Any guesses, felines? 

It's the official outfit for Clooney Claus!  Now, I do know that alot of felines out there do not like dressing up in apparel...they tend to put the bitey on their Humans and run off and hide in hard-to-reach locations and look all grumpy when they are photographed etc. etc.  But if Clooney Claus is to visit all the naughty and nice felines on Christmas Eve with his new team of deer and his goodies and pressies, he  does have to look the part...so I'll let it slide theese time...At least theese outfit is an improvement over last year's model and I will actually look classy.  And I needs to be a classy Clooney Claus just in case the Pawpurrazzi catch wind of me and publish the photos in the National Feline Enquirer!

TUNNEL TUESDAY - ADVENT EDITION ~Week 2~

Well hello there felines!  So I goes to my tunnel in the wee hours of the morn...and what do I find?  There waiting for me is Christmas stockings!  Can you believe it felines? 

I was very excited about theese one!  Neytiri claimed the "Meow" stocking because it came with a little mousie.  Now that is alright by me because the red stocking is bigger and can fit more Num-Nums and pressies in it, so I'm glad it ended up being mine!  Whoa felines...I wonder what will end up appearing in my stocking on Christmas morn?  Audience, please leave some ideas below about the type of goodies Neytiri and I should be getting in our Christmas stockings...theese will give the Elves a bit of help. 

**Note to public** Uh, coal is not an acceptable suggestion, remember that Clooney Claus will be visiting your house and I may take theese one purr-sonally...

Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my tunnel in the wee hours of the morn...and what do I find?  There waiting for me were Miniature Snowmen!  Can you believe it felines?  

  

They arrived just in time to kick off the month of December and the holiday season and assist us in the countdown to Christmas.  Neytiri put the bitey on some of them to test them out...I, on the other paw, was more well-behaved (sort of anyway)...
