TUNNEL TUESDAY

TUNNEL TUESDAY: TAKE A LOOK AT THEESE ONE!

Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my tunnel in the wee hours of the morn...and what do I find? There waiting for me was a yummy plate of Ukrainian food!  Can you believe it, felines?!

I got in closer to sniff the yummy stuff...

And then even a little closer to sniff my beloved ham...oh how I loves me ham!  Then Neytiri put a kaibosh on the whole thing!  She said she had been slaving away in the kitchen at Headquarters for days putting her Martha Stewart Baking Lessons to good use, making nalisnyky, perogies and cabbage rolls,  and that the yummy food was for my cousin Cloonski Ogorki who would be arriving from Old Country to spend Ukrainian Christmas with us...

I was instructed that I had to admire the ham from a distance and wait for Cloonski...I hope his plane isn't delayed like last year when the Snowpocalypse hit us and he was stranded in the airport...

Join us next TUESDAY felines for Ukrainian New Year's and the arrival of cousin Cloonski Ogorki

TUNNEL TUESDAY

TUNNEL TUESDAY: TAKE A LOOK AT THEESE ONE!

Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my "tunnel" in the wee hours of the morn...and what do I find?  There's  "Ducky" inside a Christmas stocking!  Imagine my surprise!  The little guy did look a little tempting hanging from my tunnel, I have to admit...

I started to lick my chops...but then Neytiri appeared and I know that "Ducky" is her special little friend so I left him alone.  Neytiri didn't see him yet...

Then all of a sudden she came through the tunnel and spotted the little guy!

Now what else do we have here...folks?  I spy a Christmas ham all decked out in red bows and a special "suit" for someone we all know!

That's right.  Clooney Claus's outfit has appeared.  Here I am giving it a closer inspection.

And then the Paw-purr-azzi captured a picture of me posing with the Christmas ham!  This will probably end up in The National Feline Enquirer...I can only imagine the headlines.  Uh, does anyone else want to come over and take your picture with the Christmas ham?  Don't delay...this offer has a best before date.

But never mind the Christmas ham...that "Duck" looked just a little too good!

Conclusion of "The Great Harley Ham Adventure"

WHAT HAPPENS IN "THE BIG EASY" STAYS IN "THE BIG EASY"...

(What follows is the conclusion to Cloon & Cotton's Harley Adventure & Ham Picnic)

Cloon: Now that Cotton is back safe and sound at the Funny Farm (and a good thing too, otherwise I'd has to answer to that Dr. Buddy over there), I has her joining me via webcam to discuss our adventure. Hello there Miss Cotton!
Cotton: Good evening Cloon. I'm just waking up from a 12 hour nap, wow that adventure sure tuckered me out!
Cloon: I know, we did pack a whole lot of activities into a short time frame! So, what was your favorite part of our Harley trip?
Cotton: I loved seeing the beautiful architecture of the plantation homes, especially the Oak Valley Plantation and was so excited about being an extra on the set of the soap opera that was filming there.
Cloon: Theese one was a good one! Yes, you made your TV debut! Congrats on that! Then, we had our ham picnic under that giant canopy of oak trees and it was an excellent spot. I must say that was THE best ham I ever tasted. You did a wonderful job cooking it and maybe someday you'll share your recipe with us...
Cotton: Oh, it is my secret recipe, not even the rest of the Funny Farmers are privy to it...
Cloon: Hmm, did it have Num-Nums as part of the glaze?
Cotton: I'm sorry but I'm not able to divulge that information.
Cloon: I guess I missed the window of opportunity, I should have asked you about your recipe last night after you had that "Hurricane" (uh, I mean "sweet Georgia tea") drink at Pat O'Briens in the French Quarter...
Cotton: Oh, I let "ALF" have my beverage...
Cloon: No wonder "ALF" and "The Baby" tried to get everyone doing the "Macarena" at theese jazz club Preservation Hall...
Cotton: Yes, and you Cloon ended up with strings of beads a month before Mardi Gras...
Cloon: Well, like I said, "What happens in The Big Easy, stays in The Big Easy"...

Easy (Rider) Like Sunday

Well hello there Audience. Happy New Year! What a way to start off 2011, I just returned from my Harley Adventure and Ham Picnic with Cotton from Jan's Funny Farm We hads a great time! Cotton had made the best case for her favorite Mancat and was therefore the winner of my contest. She won $20.00 of seed money to start up her very own Num-Num Fund and a motorcycle ride with me on the Harley. So, I had packed up my important stuff: my Harley Biker Dude cap, my Spiderman briefcase, my Blackberry and a can of Num-Nums (just in case of emergency) and headed South to pick up Miss Cotton for our Harley adventure and ham picnic. When I arrived at Cotton's home, she was ready and waiting curbside with her fancy helmet and...the ham of course. What follows is an excerpt from our adventure:

Cloon: Hello there Miss Cotton! That's a mighty fine helmet you got there!

Cotton: Well, thank you kindly. I'm rather proud of it.

Cloon: Is that a wee bit of a southern accent I detect ?

Cotton: It is indeed. Being from Georgia, I'm officially a "Southern Belle".

Cloon: Theese is most excellent! You'z the first Southern Belle I'z ever met. Wow, and you really outdid yourself on the ham, theese is very impressive!
Cotton: Yes, and I had to "protect" it as well because you know that I have some canines in my household...

Cloon: So how did you manage to pull that off?

Cotton: "Well, being the Elder of the Funny Farm I have trained all the newer members who have come along. When they're annoying, I raise my paw and yell, 'Stop!' "(Cotton's own words from her blog.) So, this came in handy when I was guarding the ham as well.

Cloon: Well done! Of course you also have "tortitude" and I hear that goes a long way too.

Cotton: Very true. I am a member of TATA (Tough A*s Torties Association).

Cloon: Well good on ya! Because you are also a lady and a Southern Belle, I thoughts I'd surprise you and takes you on a tour of the fancy plantation homes in the Louisiana countryside, have our ham picnic on the grounds, watch the sunset, then head to New Orleans to listen to some jazz. How does that sound?

Cotton: Oh, my! How exciting! It's a good thing I did get a good rest to take in all that action.

Cloon: And one more thing...You don't mind hangin' out with aliens do ya? My associate "The Baby" brought his buddy "ALF" along as a navigator.

Cotton: Oh dear. I've never met an alien before...but I guess it's all in the name of adventure!

Cloon: That's the spirit!

...CLOON, COTTON, "THE BABY" AND "ALF" HEAD OUT ON THEIR GREAT HARLEY ADVENTURE...
