TUNNEL TUESDAY: CLOSED

Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my tunnel in the very late hours of the morn...and what do I find?  My tunnel is closed for spring cleaning!  Yep, it's that time of year again...

Neytiri is dusting the tunnel and demonstrating the art of "Dust Bunny Busting"!  She is making sure the tunnel is spic and span and in top-notch shape...

Boxing Day Parade

Well hello there Audience!  How many of you have "turkey tummy"?  Let's have a show of paws, shall we?  A few I see.  I, myself, partook of a bit of ham...oh how I likes me ham!  But I digress, welcome to our Boxing Day Parade!  

As you can see, Neytiri and I are getting ready...

...to box!  Oh wait, that's the wrong kind of "boxing" for today!  

Let the parade begin...

When Neytiri was a wee young lass, she first discovered boxes with great enthusiasm...

As time went on, she found many-an-interesting thing in theese boxes...

Being an avid Dust Bunny Buster, she even hung out in a box advertising her services ...

I, on the other paw, used the box as a prop to show off my Samba moves...

And "Ducky"...well the little guy has a fondness for mini-mugs of ale, so he sat curbside trying to attract some attention in his box!  He decided to get a head-start on collecting his beverages for our next St. Paddy's Day party... 

We are also purrticipating in the Box Day 2013 Catstravaganza over at the Cult of Otis!

TUNNEL TUESDAY TIDY-UP

TUNNEL TUESDAY: TIDY-UP

Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my tunnel in the wee hours of the morn...and what do I find?  My tunnel was closed for Fall Maintenance!  Can you believe it felines? 

Neytiri decided that, since the tunnel has been out of operation for the past few months while I was on my summer camping trip, she better perform a fall maintenance check on it to make sure it will be able to perform its magic!  She also has a surprise for everyone...

She has been waiting to teach someone very special how to dust...and this is just the purr-fect opportunity to do so...

It's Neytiri's Mancat Archie from Cat's Cats!

Archie took the red eye in from Tarana to Headquarters to learn the "Art of Dust Bunny Busting"!  Archie is bold and fearless and likes to hang out in high places so he got a bird's eye view of the dusting lesson!

Here is Neytiri demonstrating "the craft"...

Archie got so excited watching the dusting lesson that he jumped up from his cozy spot up-on-high!  He was eagerly anticipating trying his own paw at this dusting!  

How do you think he did Audience?  Do you think Secretary Neytiri passed him with flying colors?

Yep!  He was a natural...

...and now the Tunnel is ready to rock n' roll!

CINCO DE MAYO CINEMA

Psst...Hey amigos...yeah you!  Need a little more spice in your life or at least in your week?  Well sit back...

Grab some popcorn...and watch our "Cinco De Mayo Cinema"...

Theese one is titled "Cinco De Mayo Rerun":

When I came upon the "scene", the Cinco De Mayo party had already begun...Cloon was fitted with his Mexican sombrero...looking a bit sombre, I might add...

 But then all of a sudden, his ears perked up as a big commotion caught his attention.   It was the arrival of his Guest of Honor, who always likes to make a grand entrance...

  "The Baby" (orange doy tog pictured above) fresh in from MORE plastic surgery in Cabo just back from studying Mexican culture and customs, snitched Cloon's sombrero, donned it and posed for a photo op.

  Then the Secretary quickly put down her duster and joined the action...thoroughly sniffing the "limon".  Plus someone had to keep an eye on that "Ducky"...

 Hmm, then she moved onto the cerveza...Can't blame a girl, really...it was a tough week in Dust Bunny Ville.  A little bit of a late bloomer, Cloon finally spotted the string limon and appeared quite "fixated"...

 Realizing that she had been left out of the equation, Neytiri demanded her own set of maracas.  Pink ones no less.

 She then realized this was her big chance to seize the moment and the spotlight and spice things up...

 

She took the party up a notch when she started to shake them...

  Out of the blue, in an unprecedented move, Cloon (possibly under the influence of cerveza) goes for "Ducky"...giving him a whap!  

Then things REALLY get shameless start to "heat up"...
"The Baby" topples over! (Apparently "two big feets to the wind")  And Cloon shows the Audience his backside...
as he starts to Samba and "shake his tailfeather"...

THE END (of the flick but the beginning of the PAR-TAY!)

 We are back in business after our 2 week Blogcation and Secretary Neytiri has dusted the tunnel after the construction.  And we're live...

TUNNEL TUESDAY: DA BIRD! DA BIRD!!!

Well hello there Audience.  So I goes to my "tunnel" in the wee hours of the morn and what do I find?  There waiting for me is Da Bird!!!  Can you believe it felines?  My tunnel came through for me once again and brought me some fantastic entertainment.  I was besides myself with excitement! 

 Here we are checking out Da Bird...I gave it the bitey just to make sure it was up to snuff.  And of course, it passed the test!

 Here I am going in for some action...

And here's Neytiri watching Da Bird very closely...I've come to the conclusion that theese one is a good one!  Of course, I am partial to feathers!  Does anyone else out there have Da Bird?  Or is anyone a fan of feathers?

International Box Day

We are participating in The Third Annual International Box Day.   The Zoolatry Girls have organized the event and made the above picture and tag.

Our first participant is Neytiri.



 "Ducky" just had to participate as well when he heard about the event (Uh, remember how he developed a liking for theese mini-mugs of ale during our St. Paddy's  festivities...)

Then of course, is yours truly...who can never pass up an opportunity to campaign for Num-Nums!

And remember folks...I likes to Samba...



And speaking of Samba...here it is in action!!!

TUNNEL TUESDAY

TUNNEL TUESDAY:  TAKE A LOOK AT THEESE ONE!

Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my "tunnel' in the early hours of the morn in anticipation of what I'z going to find... and there sits a pink duster...Then before I know it, Secretary Neytiri rushes into the tunnel and claims the duster as her own.  Neytiri's favorite color is pink and she loves dusting Headquarters and "busting the dust bunnies".  Then Neytiri closed down the tunnel operations and proceeded to dust the tunnel and perform spring cleaning.  She was very pleased with her dusting and cleaning job and was "tickled pink" with this week's tunnel surprise.
