Thankful on Thursday - "Mission Accomplished!"

Hello there Audience!  I'z got some exciting news for you all...Lil Em has moved to her forever home today with her new Mom!  Isn't that fantastic?  We are very thankful today at Headquarters that someone has reached out to give this sweet little kitty the permanent home she so deserves.

A big acknowledgement to the awesome  BRIAN who is such a great advocate for animals and for cats in particular.  He made it his mission to make everyone aware of Sapphire and Lil Em's situation and try to find them a forever home.  A big thanks to MARG who has such a great heart and gave Lil Em a foster home to better her living conditions while she waited for adoption.  Many thanks to all who had Lil Em in their thoughts and prayers and advocated for her.  And of course, most importantly, the biggest thanks ever to Lil Em's New Mom!  So today we say, great job folks and :
"MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!"

Now let's dance!  And this calls for a very special dance...

Hey Macarena!

CLOON PRESENTS "PRO BONO" SEMINAR AT WINTER CARNIVAL FUNDRAISER

What follows is an interview with FQ (Felines' Quarterly) in attendance at the Pink Nose Society's Winter Carnival Fundraiser.

FQ: My you look quite dashing Cloon. Do you have your own fashion stylist?

Cloon: I certainly do. It's my Human.

FQ: Well, good on you. Now can you tell us a little about your "Pro Bono" Seminar.

Cloon: The title of my seminar is "The Importance of Capitalist Ventures in Feline Society".

FQ: That sounds very intriguing. Tell us more.

Cloon: Theese one contains very important information for the feline segment of society.

FQ: Are you able to be a little more specific?

Cloon: Yes of course. Basically, it is important for felines to be involved in capitalist ventures because we'z very intelligent and needs the intellectual stimulation and also because we'z very independent and likes to be our own bosses. Also, because Num-Nums are very important to us, we has to take it into our own paws, so to speak, and be financially self-sufficient. Therefore, we needs to be entrepreneurs involved in capitalist ventures.

FQ: Excellent insight on your part Cloon. Can you review for us, your experience in these areas?

Cloon: I has my Num-Num Fund and my Blog. I'm CEO of Clooney Credit Canada, an automotive business. I has an Ice Cream Truck and I has also inherited the Mobile Waxing Unit which happens to be part of the same vehicle. I has also inherited a bedazzling business where I "pimp suitcases". I partake in some Mockumentary Filmmaking with Mr. L at Von Ice Enterprises. I has my "Cement Shoes" business. Need I say more?

FQ: No. Stop right there. You're making the rest of us felines look bad. What exactly takes place in these seminars?

Cloon: Well, I evaluate the natural strengths and skills and interests of the felines in attendance through the use of very specialized surveys, then we do some "think tank" brainstorming, and then some role-playing, then I show PowerPoint presentations of my various capitalist ventures, and we generally end the sessions with the Macarena (theese one is a good group activity) and a pep rally.

FQ: Where do you usually present this seminar?

Cloon: Fundraising events like theese one and at feline shelters and humane organizations.

FQ: Thank you for enlightening us with this very important information Cloon. Do you have anything to say in closing?

Cloon: (starting to Samba)..."Come and find me, my name is Macarena...Always at the party con las chicas que son buena...Hey Macarena!...Ay!

NEWS BULLETIN...

NEWS BULLETIN: MR. L'S BABY SPOTTED IN CABO SAN LUCAS...

Joining me via Skype is an informant friend of mine from the good ol' days. He has just broken this shocking story about "The Baby" on a bender in Mexico.

Cloon: Tell me more. This is just too juicy.

Mr. X: Well Cloon, as you see from the Paparazzi photo, "The Baby" is going for it. He is painting the town orange.

Cloon: Poor Mr. L, he'll be needing an emergency Pet Psychology Session now for sure.

Mr. X: How is he taking the news?

Cloon: He's beside himself. He hasn't ever been separated from "The Baby" before. Not to mention, the reputation of Von Ice Enterprises is at stake as well.

Mr. X: All I can say is here I am at the Cabo Wabo Cantina having a few and suddenly "The Baby" takes the stage for karaoke, singing "One more tequila they were falling in love, one more is never enough"...

Cloon: Good choice of song. I couldn't have done it better myself.

Mr. X: Exactly. He's pulling out all the stops.

Cloon: Does there seem to be an end in sight?

Mr. X: Not at all. Rumor has it, he's just getting started and this may turn into a lifestyle.

Cloon: Shocking, really.

Mr. X: Wait a minute. Here comes "The Baby". He is strutting over in my direction.

Cloon: I want the exclusive interview.

Mr. X: I'll see what I can do, he's a bit temperamental. "Hey 'Baby', Cloon wants a word with you." Ok, Cloon go ahead, I'm handing him the headset.

Cloon: "Baby" what do you have to say for yourself?

"The Baby": Well, try spending your life in a dog's mouth... That's what I'm talkin about...
Cloon: What should I tell Mr. L?

"The Baby": Tell him that absence makes the heart grow fonder and that when I do return, I will have excellent footage for his Mockumentary Filmmaking business. Picture this: DOG TOYS GONE WILD!

Cloon: Now you're talkin...

Mr. X: Adios Amigo, "The Baby" and I are off to do the Macarena...

Cloon: Hey Macarena! Ay! (Audience, Clooney has major paw action going on!)
