Approaching the two month mark of the loss of my Clooney, I will acknowledge that it's been a loss that runs very deep and still seems, in part, a bit of a dream.  I want to thank each and every person who left a comment for me as it has been a piece of my healing. When I lost Inka, we were not part of a blogging community and it has touched me that others have shared this particular loss with me.  The cat blogging community holds such a special place in my heart and I am grateful for your support.  Again, thank you.  Gentle purrs to each person who is remembering their beloved(s) today or every day.

My Dear Clooney,

My world was forever changed when your heart stopped beating at 3:11 PM, Friday, July 2, 2021.  You left this world with the same graciousness, sweetness and vulnerability that you entered my life with 14 years, 5 months and 11 days ago.  You came in on a cold, snowy day in January and left the week of a record heat wave.  You and I had a love that contained everything, every peak and valley.  You taught me so much about love, in your living and in your passing.  You changed me.  You were my muse, my problem child, the squeaky wheel, my squeaky wheel, a healer, my healer and the mystery I just couldn't solve.  Even though you somehow felt you had to compete with Neytiri for my love, I need you to know that you hold the title to a prime piece of real estate in my heart and that you will always be King of my heart.  The absence of your presence is palpable and I miss you tremendously. Rest in peace, my Mancat Divine, may you be reunited with your best friend Inka at the Rainbow Bridge.

Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my tunnel in the very late hours of the day...and what do I find? There waiting for me was a very special framed print called "Muffin's Dream"...

The kitty in the print really reminds me of my best friend who is now at the Rainbow Bridge...

It's the 6th Anniversary of the passing of 

our dear Inka...

We still miss her very much...

True to Inka's spirit, we saw Ladybugs today flying about on our outdoor patio.  We sat quietly in the sun watching them, cherishing the special visit and our memories of our sweet girl...

Welcome to a very special Tunnel Tuesday...

Today is the 5th Anniversary of the passing of our sweet Inka...

We still miss her so...

We hope she is enjoying the sun on her fur, a gentle breeze and all her favorite things...

We received a visit from her once again as she sent her messenger the ladybug to us last night and she visited my Human in her dreams a few mornings ago...

This time last year we won a giveaway from the Island Cats and it was a brick in Chrystal's Winnie's Wish Walkway.  

It's so special that we got to pay tribute to our Angel Inka in this way...

LADYBUG! LADYBUG!

Today marks 4 years of the passing of my special soul kitty, Inka.  When Inka was alive she had a special soft spot for ladybugs, always watching over them and following them around but never harming them (even though she was an expert bug-catcher and eater).  After Inka passed away, I witnessed ladybugs in unusual places and circumstances.  I thought if something was to be Inka's messenger, a ladybug would indeed be fitting.  

  Each year, the week before the Anniversary of her passing, I also see ladybugs.  This year, I was graced by a whole ladybug invasion on my outdoor patio.  Fifty or more ladybugs appeared one sunny afternoon out of the blue.  I had never seen so many ladybugs at one time.  It was truly special...and magical.  

(The metaphysical meaning of a ladybug is "energies of renewal and regeneration", "when it appears it is telling us to let go and let God". It is said that "ladybug teaches us to restore our faith and trust in Great Spirit. It initiates change where it is needed the most. When ladybug appears it is asking us to get out of our own way and allow Great Spirit to enter".)

We were deeply saddened by the sudden and unexpected passing of a dear friend of ours...Father Tom from Whisker Messages From A Church Cat  ...We send his Angel self, his Mom Julie and his feline family Tinker, Anastasia and Cousin Mitty all our love...

In our blogging community, sometimes a kitty touches our heart in a special way...we admire and adore them from afar...Tom was one of those kitties for us...
