TUNNEL TUESDAY: TAKE A LOOK AT THEESE ONE!

 Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my tunnel in the wee hours of the morn...and what do I find?  There waiting for me was a brand new bag of my favorite crunchy kibbles!  Can you believe it, felines?  Oh, I was besides myself with excitement!

Then, all of a sudden, I heard my Human say that I had to wait a few more days to eat my beloved crunchies!  What do you think of that felines?  Perhaps the nose bitey is in order for theese one...

My ears are peeled as I hear we are about to start an official "Crunchy Countdown", felines!  The clock starts now and goes for 48 hours...We needs the go-ahead from my Vet when I has my 2 week post-dental check-up on Thursday afternoon.  Dear friends, could you send good vibes my way that my toofs are all good and that I get my crunchies back?  And thanks for all your purrs, Clooney Claus is going to be very generous with you kitties theese Christmas!

**Update:  The Cloon is being very picky with his food, hopefully all is healing well and we can add a bit of dry crunchies back in.  He is getting some soaked, mushy crunchies with baby food now but is off his soft Num-Nums for some reason.**

(Yes, Neytiri is wearing the Ladybug costume from the tunnel!  Actually, both Neytiri and Clooney were going to be Ladybugs as Ladybugs in nature are both female and male...so those who guessed both were onto us!  However, given the circumstances this week of Clooney's dental, he was given a free pass not to dress up this year!  Clooney is still eating without the appetite stimulant Wednesday and today. Not as much as with the pill, but still eating.  He has a recheck on Nov. 7 and we are purring that he will be cleared for his crunchy kibbles as he really is missing them!  Again, thanks so much for all your purrs!)

 Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my tunnel in the wee hours of the morn...and what do I find?  There was Chicken Baby Food!  Can you believe it, felines?

Well, I thinks the baby food is much better than Jell-O, don'tcha agree felines?  I was really hoping for some dry crunchies though...oh how I miss my crunchy kibbles...

I also wanted to show you the dangers of welcome back parties and cerveza, felines...Someduck got carried away with the party games and stole my furs while I was sleeping!

**UPDATE ON CLOONEY:  RETURNED TO THE VET MONDAY AND WAS PUT ON AN APPETITE STIMULANT (for 3 days) AND TAKEN OFF ANTIBIOTIC (CLAVAMOX) AS IT IS THOUGHT IT WAS MAKING HIM FEEL SICK AND NOT WANT TO EAT.  MONDAY HE HAD BEST EATING SINCE THURSDAY!  HOPEFULLY NOW WE HAVE REALLY TURNED THE CORNER.**

Thank you all so much for your purrs and prayers and suggestions.  We appreciate your friendship very much!  (Since he cannot have dry crunchies for 2 weeks, we have been trying everything including baby food, A/D from the VET, tuna with tuna water and of course all soft, canned Num-Nums.)

Please keep Clooney in your thoughts and prayers as he has only eaten very minimally since his return home from his dental on Thursday afternoon and he will not drink water.  If we don't have a change by Monday, he will have to go back in to the VET.  If you could send some good vibes our way, it would be appreciated as we are going through a stressful, personal time right now.  Thank you for your friendship.

*Update on Clooney*

Clooney's surgery got pushed to late Wednesday afternoon and he had two extractions.  He is being kept overnight at the Hospital so he can be monitored.  At 5:30 PM (PST) the report was that he was doing well.  I will be bringing him home around noon today and will update again later.  Thank you so much for keeping the Cloon in your thoughts and if you could keep the purrs coming, that would be great too!

When I arrived back at Headquarters, "Ducky" had a brewski waiting for me.  Apparently, I'z on a liquid diet for awhile...I was so relieved that I wasn't really ousted from my CEO position at Headquarters and that everything was still in its proper place when I returned and went from room to room meowing investigating.  I gots lots of luvvins from my Human, some brushies and some Num-Nums (which I happily ate).  I appreciate all the purrs for me from my dear friends!  Thank you all so much!  Well, I thinks the cerveza is making me a bit sleepy so I'z off to get some shut-eye folks...

(Cloon's Human: Overall, Clooney is alert, has an appetite and seems to be doing very well.  He has wanted to be close to me this afternoon and is definitely glad to be home!  Thanks again, everyone!)

Neytiri got all excited because she thought it was a new ingredient to once again test out her Martha Stewart Baking Lessons!   But then we both realized that Jell-O has nothing to do with baking...

Suddenly, my spidey-senses kicked in and I had deja-vu...Audience, remember when my tunnel made me Jell-O before?  Oh, oh...stay tuned...

Wordy Wednesday - Stirred...Not Shaken

Well hello there Audience.  I'm afraid I may have had WAY TOO MANY Niptinis...I wokes up with theese Niptini glass next to me???  At least I feel like I had alot of them...I thinks the tarbender may have shaken them...and I only drinks them "stirred"!  Also felines, I may have joined a gang in theese fuzzy state of mind.  I has theese red band on my leg and I don't know where it comes from.  Red kinda goes nicely with my furs, don't you think?  Think of the sequel:
"The Hangover 3 - The Niptini Edition"...

Whoa!  I'm fading fast folks...I'm going to pass theese story over to my Human...

Wow, what a day.  I sat on pins and needles waiting for the Vet to call. 
(I'm a nervous and protective Cat-Mom...that's just the way I roll.)  And no call came.  So I thought that was probably a good thing.  Finally, I couldn't take it anymore and called the clinic.  At 1PM, they said Clooney was just starting to wake up.  I wasn't able to talk to the Vet and no one at the desk really knew any information.  They said everything was most likely ok if I wasn't called and to come at 5 PM to get Clooney.  At 5:30 PM I was able to talk with the Vet.  Clooney was under the anesthetic for 1 hour and the Vet said he did well.  His throat was checked for polyps and his right ear was examined again more closely.  No evidence of anything in his throat  and the x-rays  were all clear and purr-fect!  No signs of any kind of abnormalities anywhere!  It looks like what is blocking the view of the eardrum is just wax but it is too close to the eardrum to try to take out.  The dental x-rays were also purr-fect!  All roots are healthy and no teeth were removed.  His teeth were cleaned as they have needed a cleaning.  Looks like the swollen bump along the nose, which has gone down almost completely in the past few days, (must be those purrs!) is not related to the teeth.  The Vet thinks it may have been due to an outside trauma of some sort like him bumping into something. In the past 4 hours that we've been home, he's been more stirred than shaken...He has had a few licks of Num-Nums, eaten a few crunchies but mainly just sits in different spots and stares.  There's been a bit of sneezing and a bit of a cough from the intubation.  Neytiri is walking wide circles around him stretching out to sniff him at a distance!  But The Cloon always smells good to me! 

A tremendous and heartfelt thank you to everyone for the good thoughts and purrs.  The power of the purr prevails!
