**POWER OF THE PURR**
Please keep Clooney in your thoughts and prayers as he has only eaten very minimally since his return home from his dental on Thursday afternoon and he will not drink water. If we don't have a change by Monday, he will have to go back in to the VET. If you could send some good vibes our way, it would be appreciated as we are going through a stressful, personal time right now. Thank you for your friendship.
I am sending lots of purrs to Clooney! I hope he feels better soon - if not, it's possible his mouth isn't healing from the dental the way it should, so he'll probably have to get meds from the vet.

Oh, purrs and purrayers from us! We're sorry we missed sending good thoughts for his dental. Did he have extractions? He wouldn't be able to eat dry for a week or so if that was the case. We're crossing our paws for him, hope he doesn't need to go back.

ReplyDeletehopefully he is just uncomfortable. When Tim has his big dental last winter (and ended up having most of his teeth pulled) it took a while for him to get comfortable and back to "normal". purrs......

ReplyDeleteWhen Orange Boyzo had all his teeth done, he quit eating too. They found a little bump on his gums and they fixed that and he was fine. Hope it is something easy Joe is crossing his hooves very hard. Take care.

ReplyDeleteCloney ssk your Mom to mash your food up with a little water so it can be swallowed without too much chewing. When your gums heal you will probably eat quite normally - it worked for both of us when we had many teeth removed.

Hi Clooney -- just made my way over from Brian's Home -- sorry about your dental work. Our mum had all her remaining teeth pulled and dentures 2 weeks ago, so even tho Clooney wont have dentures she knows what its like to hurt when she eats. She has been sticking with soups, etc. and I am sure your peoples can fin d you the equivalent. She says it is starting to feel better so, as the expression goes -- THIS TOO SHALL PASS.

Oh Cloon! We remember how miserable Ryker was when he came home and the vet meds wore off. He did the same thing - he was miserable! Purring buckets and loads of purrs for you and we hope that your vet gives you nice painkillers and makes things all fuzzy and soft and comfy for you while you recoup.

Sending lots of purrs and prayers. When our Tommie had his dental a few years ago he had to get appetite stimulant pills from the vet. He had a hard time recovering from the anaethesia - it was ten days before he was back to normal. Try not to let George get dehydrated.
