Remember my fortune cookie from yesterday?  Well, it already worked!  I have a date for New Year's Eve...actually two dates in one!

I will be escorting the lovely sisters Giulietta and Fiona from The Cat On My Head to a very special party that Nellie is throwing for New Year's Eve.  Nellie's Mommy dressed the three of us in our sparkly party wear...

Many moons ago, I asked Marg if Neytiri and I could be an honorary Auntie and Uncle for Joe and Smoke because, as everyone else out there, we adored theese sweet little donkeys so much...

Well, sweet Joe was injured this past week and Nellie's New Year's Eve Party is a Blog-a-thon fundraiser for Marg’s animals and Brian's Home also has made a fundraiser for Joe here.  
We wish Joe the speediest of recoveries...

So, I am heading over to Nellie's party with my lovely dates, make sure to stop by later when the party is in full swing and leave a comment for Joe... 

 For those who purrfer a quieter atmosphere to bring in the New Year, our Cat Cafe will be open 24 hours and Neytiri will be brewing the good stuff!

TUNNEL TUESDAY

TUNNEL TUESDAY: IT'S NELLIE, IT'S NELLIE!

Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my tunnel in the wee hours of the morn...and what do I find?  There waiting for me was Nellie!  Can you believe it felines?  I was besides myself with excitement!

 Nellie teleported over from her tunnel to mine to spend the day together.  Last week, I found out that I am going to be the lucky Mancat who will escort Nellie to the Valentine's Ball!  Now even though I has a little black book with all the Ladycats in it, I'z never officially gone on a date yet!  Nellie  decided to spend today with me to ease my pre-date jitters...

Neytiri greeted Nellie with some freshly baked kitty cookies and meringue mousies to welcome her to Headquarters.  Now felines, remember this summer when the landscaping Marmot crew revealed my Ogopogo in the backyard of Headquarters?  Well today, Nellie and I are going on an adventure to find the REAL Ogopogo!

You see, Nellie's friend Larry the Saskquatch asked her to deliver a special Valentine to his Girl...who just happens to be the very one and only Ogopogo!

So Nellie and I hopped on the bus and headed for Lake Okanagan to find Ogopogo.  We got off at the lakefront and wandered down to the beach.  Larry told Nellie to swim in the lake and sing a special song he taught her to lure his Lady out of the water...

Then all of a sudden, I couldn't believes my eyes...Ogopogo came right out of the water to the shore to greet us!

Nellie gave her the special Valentine from her love Larry the Saskquatch...

Ogopogo was so touched by the Valentine that Nellie delivered that she gave me a big smooch!  Wow, now I can say that I've been kissed by Ogopogo!  I may never wash my furs ever again!

After all the excitement Nellie and I had, we returned to Headquarters and I made Nellie a nip toddy to warm herself back up after her big swim.  She then went through my wardrobe and advised me on what to wear next week for our date to the Valentine's Ball.  Now Audience, head on over to Nellie's to watch her swim and check out her meeting with Larry the Saskquatch here!

TENT TUESDAY

TENT TUESDAY: WEEK 8

Well hello there felines.  I am coming to you live on location from Week 8 of my summer camping trip!   What item did I bring with me theese week?  Oh something very special...And Neytiri is checking out the goods carefully to see if she will be able to use them in her baking...

I have "Tequila Jalapeno Jelly" and "Blueberry Garlic Jelly" from Beary Good Stuff!

On the weekend, I went on a little excursion to the Saturday market to top up my camping supplies, when low and behold...I spotted a stall with all kinds of good lookin' goodies!

Upon closer examination, I realized that I had stumbled upon my friend Nellie's (The Cat From Hell) Mommy and Daddy!  
They sell their jams, jellies and various homemade canned goods at the Saturday market. 

It was really wonderful to meet them and I gave Nellie's Mommy some special "Clooney cuddles"!  They showed me all of their stuff and helped me choose what to take back for my camping trip.
