TENT TUESDAY: WEEK 8

Well hello there felines.  I am coming to you live on location from Week 8 of my summer camping trip!   What item did I bring with me theese week?  Oh something very special...And Neytiri is checking out the goods carefully to see if she will be able to use them in her baking...

I have "Tequila Jalapeno Jelly" and "Blueberry Garlic Jelly" from Beary Good Stuff!

On the weekend, I went on a little excursion to the Saturday market to top up my camping supplies, when low and behold...I spotted a stall with all kinds of good lookin' goodies!

Upon closer examination, I realized that I had stumbled upon my friend Nellie's (The Cat From Hell) Mommy and Daddy!  
They sell their jams, jellies and various homemade canned goods at the Saturday market. 

It was really wonderful to meet them and I gave Nellie's Mommy some special "Clooney cuddles"!  They showed me all of their stuff and helped me choose what to take back for my camping trip.

(Psst Audience!  It's Cloon's Human and I just wanted to tell you that I met Nellie's Pawrents at their Beary Good Stuff stall at the Saturday market.  It was great to finally meet Nellie's wonderful Mommy as we live in the same province not too, too far from each other.  All the great photoshop pictures of Cloon visiting the market are done by her!)

I'M IN A BIT OF A JAM...

JAM 101: A CLOONEY TUTORIAL

Are you a fan of jam? I most definitely am. You see, I have a private jam collection at Headquarters. This is no ordinary jam though. Theese ones are miniature jars of jam (see photo). This particular brand features raspberry, apricot, strawberry, orange, black cherry and red cherry. My favorite happens to be raspberry which is currently in my possession. I have a dream and a plan to collect each one in the series. Especially valuable to me is the red cherry. Because theese ones are referred to as "elegant" jams, they are more tricky to find. Sunday brunch at fancy restaurants seems to be the best place to strike the mother lode. There is a particular skillset involved in "acquiring" these little jars of jam.

If you donate to the num-num fund in the next 48 hrs, I will give you a membership to my secret society of jam collectors.

In the meantime, some "teasers" are:

1) I wear a trench coat to brunch.

2) I try to frequent establishments that do not have "jam detectors" on the premises.
