TUNNEL TUESDAY: TAKE A LOOK AT THEESE ONE!

 Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my tunnel in the wee hours of the morn...and what do I find?  There waiting for me was the book "Cat Laughs" by Gary Patterson!  Can you believe it felines? I am very excited to read theese one!

 

I happened to be "pawing' through the book and found some very, very interesting information!

Now gather 'round felines...Uncle Cloon is going to read you a few purr-sonal favorites from the page of the book entitled "Things to Do While on a Bird Stakeout"...

1) Take a catnap, of course

2) Text friends to ask for good barbeque bird recipes

3) Watch humans with night-vision goggles (**uh theese one is a good one!**)

4) Practice intimidating poses and flexes (**nothing like showing off them biceps and guns!**)

TUNNEL TUESDAY: TAKE A LOOK AT THEESE ONE!

Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my tunnel in the wee hours of the morn...and what do I find?  There waiting for me was a big zucchini!  Can you believe it felines?  If the truth be told, Neytiri and I were a bit leery of theese big zucchini squash at first...We approached it with extreme caution and observed it from the far end of the tunnel! 

After a bit of time passed, I decided to take matters into my own paws and approach a bit closer to the big zucchini...

Oh and now I got even a wee bit closer and sniffed in its general direction...Now, what in the world is a big zucchini doing in my tunnel?   Audience, let's get to the bottom of theese mystery, shall we?

Well as it turns out, my tunnel had been doing a bit of gardening during its summer break when I was off camping in my tent!  It was growing theese big zucchini in the back of Headquarters.  Now let me remind you all that theese is no small feat...there are many-a-Marmot waiting in the wings just to walk off with one of theese zucchinis!  So the fact that it was able to stay put and reach 14 pounds was a miracle in itself!  But wait, there's more...

My tunnel was so proud of its accomplishment in growing theese big zucchini that it decided to enter it in a County Fair!  The big zucchini won 1st prize!  Isn't that fantastic, felines?

Secretary Neytiri's curiosity finally got the better of her and she too checked out the zucchini close-up, giving it some good whiffies.  Suddenly, her "wheels started to turn" bigtime as she realized theese zucchini was "baker's gold"!  She could finally put her "Martha Stewart Baking Lessons" to a real test...

Meow Like A Pirate 101

Ahoy Mateys!  Welcome to our "Meow Like A Pirate 101"...where we are about to set sail with some tips and tidbits to make yer voyage more "piratey"...Arrr Mateys!

Firstly, get in the pirate spirit by decoratin' yer cat tunnel with a scary pirate hat...

Then have yer unsuspectin' cat toy try the costume on for size...

(Cap'n Mini-Cloon Poopdeck is a very accomodatin' fella)...  

Errr Mateys!

Even "Deck Swab Ducky" is in on the action as he be rockin' a wee eye patch...

From the time she was a young lass, the Beauty Neytiri was a practicin' her pirate leer...

Shiver me timbers but she be a natural!  Let's give the little Ladycat a round of applause...

And a special lesson for ye pirate laddies-in-training...Are ye ready to practice the pirate sneer?  Get set and go...

Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my tunnel in the wee hours of the morn...and what do I find? My tunnel was definitely back in operation! In fact, my tunnel was wearing a pirate hat!  Can you believe it felines? 

Here is Neytiri scanning the horizon for pirates!

And here I am...checking out the pirate hat in-depth and coming to the conclusion that theese can mean only one thing...

My Human Double is currently lurking around the area on a movie shoot.  My Human has had a few thoughts of going in search of theese guy...but I counseled her in having some self-restraint in theese department.  I mean, why would she even consider it when she's got the REAL thing (ME) right in her midst?

TUNNEL TUESDAY TIDY-UP

TUNNEL TUESDAY: TIDY-UP

Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my tunnel in the wee hours of the morn...and what do I find?  My tunnel was closed for Fall Maintenance!  Can you believe it felines? 

Neytiri decided that, since the tunnel has been out of operation for the past few months while I was on my summer camping trip, she better perform a fall maintenance check on it to make sure it will be able to perform its magic!  She also has a surprise for everyone...

She has been waiting to teach someone very special how to dust...and this is just the purr-fect opportunity to do so...

It's Neytiri's Mancat Archie from Cat's Cats!

Archie took the red eye in from Tarana to Headquarters to learn the "Art of Dust Bunny Busting"!  Archie is bold and fearless and likes to hang out in high places so he got a bird's eye view of the dusting lesson!

Here is Neytiri demonstrating "the craft"...

Archie got so excited watching the dusting lesson that he jumped up from his cozy spot up-on-high!  He was eagerly anticipating trying his own paw at this dusting!  

How do you think he did Audience?  Do you think Secretary Neytiri passed him with flying colors?

Yep!  He was a natural...

...and now the Tunnel is ready to rock n' roll!

TENT TUESDAY

TENT TUESDAY: WEEK 10

Well hello there felines.  I am coming to you live on location from Week 10 of my summer camping trip!   Now theese is my last and final week camping...so I brought something very important and special with me for my final week!  I personally thinks that it ranks just after marshmallows in terms of importance for camping trips...

A book on "Ghost Stories"!  Yeah, that's right my fellow felines...we'z going to get our ghost stories on...
Now gather 'round my furry little friends...get nice and cosy around our closing campfire and Uncle Cloon will read you some very spooky stories!  You never know what might go bump in the dark...
Perhaps one of theese guys will appear...

(Ok, so it's not exactly a ghost or even a "real" Mummy...but "Ducky" has been waiting ALL summer to spook y'all!)
