Well hello there felines.  So we left off our Tunnel Tuesday with a wee bit of a cliffhanger and guessing game...

I asked the Audience to take a fun guess at what appeared in my magic cat tunnel theese Tuesday...

I know I'm a bit of a stinker...I pulled your paw!  Uh, sorry about that! 

**But just to let you all know...I've performed an inspection on the tunnel and deemed it fully functional once again!

OCTOBER 14

Today, October 14, is the 3rd Anniversary of the passing of our dear sweet Inka.  She was the love of my life and Clooney's.  Below I decided to share the pictures that show the special bond she and Clooney shared:

The next three pictures are the last and only pictures I had taken of her in the month or so before illness and cancer overtook her.  It came on very quickly and unexpectedly as she had hidden it very well until she couldn't. 

I think that grief is one of the most personal journeys we experience as feeling beings (animals included).  I believe that we don't ever get over loss but rather weave it into the fabric of our being and existence from that moment onward.  As Elizabeth Lesser has said, "grief is a demonstration of how deeply we have allowed another to touch us".

LiveStrong 2012:
In Loving Memory of Inka  ("Girlfriend") who passed away on October 14, 2009 from mammary cancer.   Inka was my "heart kitty" and Clooney's best friend.  Inka "LovedStrong" and not a day goes by that she isn't greatly missed. 

Today is for her.
