On The Red Carpet: Cloon's Oscar Review

Hello there Audience and welcome to our 6th Annual Academy Awards Oscar Review.
Did you all enjoy watching the Oscars this year?  We thought that Neil Patrick Harris did a good job as a host and found him to be cool as a cucumber given that it is a big gig to pull off...
Now, we shall get right underway with our presentation of Best Motion Picture...

In the Best Motion Picture Category...the 3 Nominees are:

 1)  The Imitation Game

This motion picture features two felines who "imitate" and emulate each other's every move and pose in attempt to win gold for "Synchronized Bird-Watching"...

 2)  American Sniper Canadian Biter

This motion picture features a Canuck cat who repeatedly puts the nose bitey on his Human in the wee hours of the morn...just because he can...

And the Oscar goes to...

3)  Birdman Duckman

This motion picture features a well-licked, well-batted cat toy duck who thinks he's real and takes part in preposterous storylines...

And now for some Oscar's Highlights...

Neytiri's Best Dressed Award goes to Rosamund Pike for her beautiful red Givenchy dress..

Ducky's "You're Busting My Chops" Award goes to Sean Penn's controversial green card comment upon his presenting the Oscar for best motion picture...

Cloon's Best Oscar Moment goes to the purrformance of the song "Glory" by John Legend and Common from the film Selma

And that's all folks!  Thanks for joining us OTRC!
*We will see you on Caturday for the Caturday Art Blog Hop
and Tunnel Tuesday will return on March 3, 2015*

TUNNEL TUESDAY ON THURSDAY

TUNNEL TUESDAY: IT'S THE YEAR OF THE SHEEP!

Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my tunnel in the wee hours of the morn...and what do I find? There waiting for me was a Lunar New Year celebration! Can you believe it, felines?

2015 is The Year Of The Wood Sheep!

Neytiri is paying mighty close attention to this little sheep...

And she decides to go in for "the whap"...

Wait, Neytiri!  We can't whap the sheep...
We need to embrace the sheep and The Year Of The Sheep...

Whoa...this little guy has plenty to say if you give him the chance...
He says that the sheep is a yin feminine energy and symbolizes peace, harmonious co-existence and tranquility...
It is a good year for kindness, caring and creativity...
Our Human was born under the sign of the sheep so she is excited about what the year will bring...

And now everyone will understand the important role our buddy Stan The World's Smallest Sheep will be playing here at Headquarters.  He will be our own purrsonal mascot and will be hanging out with us this year at Headquarters giving off his harmonious vibe...

Happy Lunar New Year everyone!  Welcome Year of the Sheep!

Just making the final adjustments here and notice that Ducky and Mini-Cloon are the "Gate Keepers of the Vine"...

Neytiri is making sure that the nip is Grade A...

And I decide to inspect it too...

Mini-Cloon our official Quality Control Tester this year is giving us the go ahead to dive right in...
Come one, come all...the Catnipalooza is officially open!

Stan The World's Smallest Sheep wishes everyone a Happy Valentine's Day!

TUNNEL TUESDAY

TUNNEL TUESDAY: IT'S LEAVES?

Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my tunnel in the wee hours of the morn...and what do I find? There waiting for me was some... leaves?  Hmm, what do you make of theese one, felines?

They kind of look like cat-shaped leaves, dontcha think?

Whoa, wait a minute...
A brewski arrived on the scene too...
Neytiri is licking her chops as she developed a taste for the mini-mugs of ale from St. Paddy's many moons ago...Her pal Ducky is a bad influence!

Yep, this is more like it...
Some dry leaves AND a cerveza to wash them down with...

It can only be destined for one little guy...
Our house guest Stan!  Got to keep him fed and hydrated, he's going to play an important role in our next year...

Join me next TUESDAY felines for other magical and mysterious appearances in my tunnel.

GROUNDHOG DAY WITH STAN THE WORLD'S SMALLEST SHEEP

Hello there Audience!  Welcome to our 6th Annual Groundhog Day Report with Stan Sagrado The World's Smallest Sheep!  Now before we get under way, we have a bit of business to attend to from yesterday...Super Bowl Sunday...

Neytiri was cheering for #TeamCat and Ducky, bless him, was on #TeamDuck...

Now we had to break it to the little guy that there was no #TeamDuck...

He then decided to root for the Seattle Seahawks to keep it in the fam...

We were getting ready to watch the Super Bowl when we heard this tap, tap, tapping at our front door...
We looked out to see Ducky's relatives on our front mat...
We couldn't believes it!  Aren't ducks supposed to be in Meh-he-Co at this time of the year?
Apparently, they had heard that some "birds" made it all the way to the football finals and decided they needed to watch the game...Since we happened to be having a snowstorm and this was their first experience with snow ever, they wanted inside pronto to warm up...
Anyhoo, we all settled in to watch the Super Bowl together but sadly our team the Seahawks did NOT win...Ducky's relatives were disappointed and dealt by eating copious amounts of popcorn and taking a dip in our swimming pool big bathtub...

Now on to the matter at paw...The Annual Groundhog Day Report with our buddy Stan...Stan is also braving the snow to bring us the most up-to-date information from all the professional Groundhogs out there...

Cloon: Hola Stan!

Stan: Hola Amigo!

Cloon: For those of the Audience who aren't familiar with Stan, his native language is Spanish.  Now Stan, we are anxious to hear the scoop on all the famous Groundhogs and their predictions...

Stan:  Well, Pennsylvania’s Punxsutawney Phil DID see his shadow and predicts 6 more weeks of winter.  Ontario’s Wiarton Willie was woken from hibernation with lettuce this year and given cauliflower to appease the little guy, apparently he is usually grumpy when he gets woken up every year...at least he gets fresh fruits and veggies NOT dog food like Phil!  I think the fresh lettuce gave him a crisp state of mind and he did NOT see his shadow, thereby predicting an early Spring for Ontario!   Nova Scotia’s Shubenacadie Sam DID see his shadow and predicts more winter for Eastern Canada.  Staten Island Chuck did NOT see his shadow and predicts an early Spring! General Beauregard Lee in Atlanta did NOT see his shadow and predicts an early Spring!

Cloon:  Muchas gracias, Stan!  Stan will be spending time with us as our guest here at Headquarters drinking cerveza eating leaves and hanging out...

And last up is our own purrsonal Groundhog "Varmit the BC Marmot"...He came out of hibernation for 5 minutes to give his report...

Hmm, wait for it...I'm receiving some psychic vibes here...
I'm getting the sense of his prediction...

I predict he will say that British Columbians will have an early Spring! You can click here for the back story on theese one!

By Marmot, I'm right on theese one!  Varmit is doing the happy dance announcing that he did NOT see his shadow this morning and hence he predicts an early Spring for Western Canada!

Remember folks, a little alot of Num-Nums goes a long way!

So, Audience, did your local Groundhog do you right?
