TUNNEL TUESDAY

TUNNEL TUESDAY:  TAKE A LOOK AT THEESE ONE!

Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my "tunnel' in the early hours of the morn in anticipation of what I'z going to find... and there sits a pink duster...Then before I know it, Secretary Neytiri rushes into the tunnel and claims the duster as her own.  Neytiri's favorite color is pink and she loves dusting Headquarters and "busting the dust bunnies".  Then Neytiri closed down the tunnel operations and proceeded to dust the tunnel and perform spring cleaning.  She was very pleased with her dusting and cleaning job and was "tickled pink" with this week's tunnel surprise.

Join me each TUESDAY felines for other magical and mysterious appearances in my "tunnel".

TUNNEL TUESDAY:  IT'S CHINESE FOOD TAKEOUT!!!

Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my "tunnel" in the wee hours of the morn and what do I find?  There waiting for me is a takeout order of Chinese food with chicken chop suey and shrimps!  Can you believe it felines?  I was besides myself with excitement as I was having the munchies and my tunnel took care of me once again!  Now we were even given chopsticks to eat our meal with.  Here is Neytiri learning how to use the chopsticks, spinning them around, giving them the bitey and eventually mastering  them...

Join me each TUESDAY felines for other magical and mysterious appearances in my "tunnel".

ST. PADDY'S DAY FESTIVITIES

Well hello there my fine little Leprechauns!  A Happy St. Paddy's Day to you all!  How many of you are wearing GREEN today?  Let's have a show of "paws"...Neytiri has taken note of those NOT wearing green and I will personally be coming 'round to pinch theese ones.
It is a very exciting day at Headquarters!  The Assembly Line Elves are brewing Green Ale and doing Irish jigs. We are starting the festivities with socializing and some ice breaker games.  Theese is a nip-friendly event and guests are encouraged to have a little sniff and roll around to eliminate any "wallflower" tendencies and encourage participation in the activities and events.
Here is Neytiri with part of the crew.  She is "licking her chops" as she has just had her first taste of "ale".  "The Baby", Pierre Du Port and "Ducky" are all here to celebrate and will partake in the Lucky Irish Coin Toss, Spin The Mini-Mug, Charades (St. Paddy's Edition), Elvis Voice-Coaching Lessons and the Dance-a-thon (Jigs with a bit of Macarena thrown in).
Here is a close-up of "Ducky" who has taken up residence in a mini-mug of ale for the past 3 days...Uh, the poor little guy is going to be one hurting unit!  Good thing I can save him with my "Hair Of The Dog"...And Pierre has come to the event dressed as his favorite Irish Cowboy...
Here is me with "The Baby".  He is "coaching" me to get serious and immerse myself into the character of Elvis so I can proceed with some voice lessons.  Notice the look of concentration I has goin' on...
And our "Surprise" Event of the day is...The St. Paddy's Photobooth where you can have your picture taken with the Assembly Line Elf (ALE) above and even leave with a autographed copy.  We'z expecting theese one to be very popular and just want to advise guests that there may be wait times...
Now here I have not one, not two...but three mini-mugs of ale on the go at once...But don't worry folks, I made sure to eat lots of Num-Nums before I started to PAR-TAY, so I've given myself a good "base".  Trust me on theese one...(Uh, a reminder for guests to bring coins with them to our party as I charge for use of the "premises" (aka: biffy)... (Theese is another way that I top up my Num-Num Fund.) Uh sorry about that...

Before I leave to join the activities currently underway, I just want to make a toast to our dearly missed "Girlfriend" (pictured above)whose 12th Birthday would have been today on St. Paddy's Day.  I'm sure she's watching over the festivities from above...saying to herself, "Oh Dear!"...

So please join me in raising a mini-mug of ale to "Girlfriend"!

WORDY WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE 2011

Hello there!  I'm Neytiri, and I'm a cutie!  Here I am with a cute little pose in my "Prince" bed.  Now I should mention that the reason I call this a "Prince" bed is because the word "Prince" is embroidered on the inside cushion I am sleeping on.  And to begin with, the bed belonged to a "prince" called TIM.  He was a Maine Coon that was a special friend of Clooney's.  Clooney inherited his bed and used to sleep in it all the time before I moved into Headquarters.  And then when I arrived and found the bed, I fell in love with it immediately.  There is something very special about this bed.  Before Clooney's first Secretary "Girlfriend" left to kitty heaven, she slept in the "Prince" bed also.   Especially when she was sick she spent lots of time sleeping in it.  Clooney would snuggle up next to her in the bed even though there is not lots of room in it.  It has a magic spell...

Well hello there!  I'm Clooney, and I'm a Character!  Somehow I thinks that you'z not very surprised...Yep, I own my "characterHOOD"!  In fact, here I am posing in one of my "characters" or alter egos.  Theese one is called "Bombs De La Renta" the gangsta.  As theese "character", I have a side business called "Cement Shoes".  Well it goes like theese...Say you have theese person you know that hasn't been very nice to you.  Well I gets the shoe size of theese person and makes "cement shoes" for them.  Then I invites them for a picnic down by the river...I asks them to try on the "cement shoes".  Then I takes a little walk with them along the river.  Then I tells the person to get a bit closer to the river bank to see the nice view.  Then they "accidentally" falls in the river with their "cement shoes".  And voila!...Problem solved.  Peace out homies!

A BIG THANK YOU TO THE CREATORS OF THE WORDY WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE 2011: SAMMY, ANDY AND SHELLY'S MAMA JUDI AND MAGGY AND ZOEY'S ZH.  OK NOW THEESE TWO LADIES HAVE AMAZING TALENTS AND WE A-PURR-CIATE THEM!!  CHECK OUT THE OTHER WORDY WEDNESDAY PLAYERS ON THE CAT BLOGOSPHERE!

TUNNEL TUESDAY

TUNNEL TUESDAY:  IT'S ST. PATRICK'S!!!

Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my "tunnel" in the wee hours of the morn and I can't believes my eyes!My tunnel is all ready for St. Patrick's Day!  It has decorated itself all up and is ready to PAR-TAY!  Isn't that fabulous felines?  Not only that, but there were mini-mugs of green ale and lucky Irish coins waiting there for me.  I took the coins to my vault immediately and then I parked myself beside the tunnel and had a "brewski".  Yikes, I guess I'z starting the party early theese year!  I better hide the mini-mugs of ale from my staff at Headquarters (The Assembly Line Elves) or I can kiss the productivity of the Elves goodbye theese week.  Also it's not a good idea to be working on the assembly line if one has consumed ale...Too late for "Ducky" though...He was sitting in a mini-mug before I even got here!  So much for Neytiri's "Snoopervisory" skills...I guess I'll have to mix him up a "Hair Of The Dog" a bit later.  More on that later theese week as we will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day with a big bash at Headquarters this Thursday.  Please do stop by for all the festivities on March 17th!

Join me each TUESDAY felines for other magical and mysterious appearances in my "tunnel".

Psst...Pass On The Blog Award, Will Ya?

Hello there Audience.  We were given the "Awesome Blog Award" from a very Awesome blog called A Cats Golden Years.  Now theese blog is just spectacular as it features the artistry of Miss Kitty and her Dad.  Miss Kitty is the beautiful subject and her Dad is the very talented artist and photographer.  You must go over and have a look if you haven't been there before.  So a big thank you to them for choosing us as one of the blogs to pass the award on to.  In turn, we have chosen to pass on the Awesome Blog Award to 2 very special blogs that shine through with their Awesomeness:

Gorogoro and Nikoniko has such sweet stories that always warms your heart with a little chuckle.  (Their Mom tells very cute stories.)  Plus Goro and Niko are two unique characters that are very handsome (ahem...they'z my evil twins).  So go on by and have a little visit, will ya?

life with Fae is about Fae, a Devon Rex who lives in Australia.  Ok, now theese little lady takes the cake with her cuteness or her "FAEness" as her Human would call it.  She has the most priceless expressions and her Human is very talented at capturing them by taking great pictures.  Her Human also writes very creative and interesting posts.  Please go by and check out that "FAEness" for yourself, will ya?

I (Clooney) shall now share with you all 7 things about ourselves that go along with the Awesome Blog Award:

1) My Human says that I always smell good.  Apparently I smell like I'z sprayed myself with a good cologne.  She is bewildered by theese and can't figure it out.  (What happens in my Secret Laboratory, stays in my Secret Laboratory...)

2)  My Human says I have 2 modes: crazy man or stuffed animal.  In "crazy man" I run at full speed, skid around on the floor, jump onto high places, adjust paintings on the wall with my paw etc. etc.  In "stuffed animal" mode I am very irresistible.  I turn over for tummy-rubs and curl my little toes and I am referred to as "Captain Curly Toes".  When I am in theese mode, I let my Human snorgle my tummy and shower me with kisses.

3)  Neytiri is a "nest-stealer".  (I thinks she may be part dodo bird.)  She always steals my best sleeping spots and then takes them over permanently as her own.  She has done this with my blue "Prince" bed, my "donut" and my "tunnel".

4)  When the woofie from next door comes over to spy on us felines and sits outside our window, Neytiri stares right back at him and purrs while she does this (she may have a bit of a crush, I mean the guy is cute...).

5)  Neytiri is a bit of a "stuntwoman".  She jumps right over me and then tries to do the wrestling "takedown" by putting her paw on my back and trying to push me to the ground.  (So far it doesn't work too well but if she gets to be one of theese "big" ragdolls, I might start to worry...)

6)  Neytiri is a "Snoopervisor".  (In fact, I thinks she has been getting some tips from Sammy and Andy in Texas, who have advanced Snoopervisory skills...)  She follows our Human everywhere and watches everything especially bathroom duties like face washing, teeth brushing and make-up application.

7)  My Human likes to dance with me.  She "sambas" over to me and at first I "strut" away but then I comes back and hangs out with her (as I secretly enjoy the attention and the "dance").

Well that's all folks!  I hopes you has an "Awesome" day...

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY MR. L!!!

Cloon:  Hello there Audience.  A special canine I know had a Birthday theese past week.  That guy is Mr. L !  And joining me in-studio today for a special interview is Mr. L's best friend, "The Baby".  "Baby", we'z all been worried about you, good to see you'z still in one piece!

"The Baby":  Thank you.  Thank you very much.

Cloon:  I see you'z been keeping up with the Elvis impersonations.  Excellent! So where have you been and what have you been up to?

"The Baby": I'm afraid that's classified information...

Cloon:  Come on eh, throw me a bone, will ya?

"The Baby":  Just messin' with ya Cloon!  I've been at an all-inclusive resort in Cabo having unlimited foot massages.

Cloon: I was wondering when you were finally going to cash in on your Christmas pressie from ol' Clooney Claus...Now I swear you look a year younger since the last time I'z seen you...Have you had botox?

"The Baby":  Well thanks for noticing Cloon!  Actually I've had a chemical peel...and "horneoplasty"...

Cloon: Whatcha talkin' 'bout Willis?

"The Baby":  I've had plastic surgery on my horns.  Don't they look fabulous!

Cloon:  Let's give them a closer inspection, shall we?  Hmm, they appear to be quite tough as I'z giving  them the bitey and they'z standing up to the test!  Now, let's get to the matter at hand...

"The Baby": Uh, yes of course...My best friend Mr. L had his 6th Birthday this past week and I'm afraid we missed it...

Cloon:  Oh oh.  Theese bodes ill.  That guy is going to be peeved with us and he's my head of security...How do you think we can redeem ourselves?

"The Baby":  I think that a good ol' ham bone and an Elvis song may do the trick.

Cloon:  Excellent!  I will have SIX ham bones FedExed to Von Ice Enterprises immediately.  One to celebrate each year of Mr. L's existence on the planet.  (I mean I depends on the guy for private eye work and my security at Headquarters, so I needs to make sure he'll forgive me...).  Now for the Elvis song...Are you ready to go "Baby"?  A one, two...one two three four...

"The Baby": (in a deepened voice) "Well, it's one for the money.  Two for the show.  Three to get ready. Now Go, Dog Go.  But Don't You...step on his blue suede paws.  Well, you can do anything...but lay off of Mr. L's blue suede paws"...

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY MR. L!!!!!!

TUNNEL TUESDAY

TUNNEL TUESDAY: IT'S MARDI GRAS!!!
Well hello there felines!  So I goes to my "tunnel" in the wee hours of the morn and imagine my delight when I sees that my tunnel has transformed itself for Mardi Gras!  Can you believe it felines?  I was besides myself with excitement as I has my own private Mardi Gras complete with colorful strings of beads.  Immediately both Neytiri and I started batting the beads around and chewing them of course (remember I'z a "string" man...).  I usually celebrate Mardi Gras at Headquarters so it was very thoughtful of my tunnel to get the festivities happening early by decorating itself in beads.  Felines if you are celebrating Mardi Gras today, I has a helpful tip for you...make sure you use the phrase "Throw me something mister!" if you want to end up with your very own strings of beads...

Join me each TUESDAY felines for other magical and mysterious appearances in my "tunnel".

NEYTIRI'S 1st BIRTHDAY!

Hello there Audience.  This is Neytiri.  Welcome to my very 1st Birthday Party.  This photo was me when I was 8 weeks old.  I am a Blue Bicolor Ragdoll.  It was the first photo my Human ever saw of me.
Clooney gave me this present for my Birthday.  It was the 2nd present I received as I had gotten one a few days earlier.
When I opened the box, inside was my very own Birthday cake.  My Human put a candle on it and said I could make a wish.  Sorry that I can't tell you all what I wished for...but I guess that's how it works with wishes...you have to keep them secret so they can come true...
I know some of you may have been wondering what was in the box with the pink bow and mousie on top that I got a couple days ago...Well the present was from my Human and "Ducky".  My Human gave me a pretty pink tiara to celebrate my Birthday.  I didn't want to wear it though...I wanted to chew it because of the nice, fluffy feathers.  It is my favorite color...pink.
The other present that was in the same package was from "Ducky".  He gave me some glitter heart tattoos.  I'm going to save these for a very special occasion.  Maybe my first date?  Speaking of which, I got a very special Birthday message from my Valentine Slash.
I hope you all will stay awhile and visit.  There's plenty of Num-Nums in the pantry (uh, don't tell Clooney I told you so though...).  I'm going to do some dust bunny busting demonstrations for your entertainment and I'll be preparing some fancy hors d'oeuvres in the Easy Bake Oven that I learned how to make from my Martha Stewart baking lessons. Uh, Clooney is giving me some kind of hand signals and saying something about "jazz paws" so I better go check this out...
